Medicines: PUBLIC NOTICE The Baldwin County Board of Education is now required by the State Board of Education to use new forms for dispensing medication in the school setting. Prior to dispensing any prescribed medication, the medication form must be completed and signed by the physician and the parent. Over the counter medicines must be cleared by the RN and the medication form must be completed and signed by the parent. Medication must be in its original container. These forms are available in the school offices at this time. No medication will be accepted or dispensed without these completed forms. Parents that opt not to sign medical forms may dispense medication in the front office by signing the medication book. Students may NEVER bring medicine of any kind to school. Only the parent can bring the medicine to school.
